There are various market centers and trade shows that feature trending children's apparel that often feature apparel with notions like snaps, elastic, velcro and flame-retardant fabrics for safety. Fashion awareness begins at a young age from Barbie Dolls to other toys. Since children grow so fast, second-hand donated children's clothing is resold to maximize its use before being discarded. Also, school uniforms are an important aspect to the industry.
