Fashion Buyers select the products to stock the retail store shelves. They must have excellent retail math skills in order to stay within a company's budget to purchase merchandise that will eventually stock store shelves so customers can buy what they are looking for. Also, they must be aware of what fashion products and styles are trending in popularity. If the buyer is successful in their position, the company should make a profit based on the buyers selection of products (also known as goods or merchandise) offered.
