Charles E. Cone Realty Company records

The collection consists of the Charles E. Cone Realty Company records from 1926 to 1957 the bulk of which cover the post-war period under ownership of Robert Moore Benson. Materials include correspondence, real estate agreements, plats and maps of Statesboro, Georgia. Additional documents pertaining to the Charles E. Cone Insurance Company and the Benson Insurance Company are also included which contain information about rates, community committees, and soil conservation regions.

Daniel Edgar Bland papers

This collection consists of mostly photocopied materials documenting the life of Daniel "Dan" Edgar Bland and the history of Bulloch County, Georgia. Materials originally span 1946-1982 and include genealogical documents, published manuscripts, and handwritten autobiographical materials. An original, hand-drawn map of the Bland property is also included.

Dorothy Brannen papers

This collection consists of materials related to Dorothy Brannen and her family from 1866 to 1990. Materials include personal and professional correspondence, administrative documents, genealogical materials, photographs, news clippings, and unpublished writings on Bulloch County.

Frances Corry Lane papers

This collection consists of Frances Corry Lane's genealogical research pertaining to nineteenth-century Wiregrass Georgia counties, including Bulloch, Burke, Emanuel, and Screven Counties. Materials include handwritten transcripts of several county census records, newspaper clippings, notes, and a register book.

Bulloch County Historic Society collection

This collection contains materials related to the Bulloch County Historical Society. Materials include correspondence, various publications, and meeting minutes.

Bulloch County Board of Education records

This collection consists of property deeds, financial records, school petitions, photographs, maps and meeting minutes of the Bulloch County Board of Education, 1888-1988.

Bulloch County Sociological Survey

This collection includes interview transcripts and demographic records of Statesboro-Bulloch County residents and their views of social class divisions and current events in Bulloch County. Documents were compiled in 1949 by sociological researcher, Bevode C. McCall. His 1954 dissertation, "Georgia Town and Cracker Culture" is a result of the survey.

Bunce Family papers

This collection spans 1843 to 1995 and contains documents related to James Arthur Bunce's education at First District Agricultural and Mechanical School and his subsequent career in agriculture as well that of his son Isaac Bunce. Newspaper clippings on the restoration of the Bunce farmhouse and other materials documenting the activities of the Bunce family in Bulloch County are included.

F. F. Floyd papers

This collection consists of papers related to Dr. Frank Forrest Floyd's medical practice in Stilson, Georgia. Materials span 1901-1911 and include personal daybooks, notepads, patient financial information, and a significant number of Professional and personal receipts.

Horace and Maggie Simmons Hagin family papers

This collection consists of materials, spanning 1915-1960, related to the education and careers of Horace and Maggie Simmons Hagin's five daughters. Materials include report cards, bills, notebooks, photographs and clippings that document their experiences as college students in Statesboro and as teachers in Bulloch County. The collection also includes drafting plates by Ruth Hagin and Barnie Kennedy and a few personal items. Highlights include letters from Zach Henderson and class notes from Hestor Newton's course in Georgia History.

J. Shields Kenan papers

The collection consists of personal papers and plaques, dealing with Mr. Kenan's career in the U.S. Army, in the printing business, as editor and publisher of The Bulloch Times, and in the local historical society and Rotary Club. Mr. Kenan was born in 1916, died August 2000, aged 84.
