Mary Annis Keller family papers

This collection consists of photocopied letters of the Keller family of Bulloch County, Georgia from 1862-1903. Most letters are addressed to Mary Annis Keller (later Hodges), from cousins serving in the Confederate Army as well as later letters from other family members. Also included are muster rolls of various Confederate units, 1860 census records of Chatham and Effingham Counties, and a chart showing the value of Confederate money to gold, 1861-May 1866. This collection was previously known as Martha Hodges Anderson Civil War Letters and Keller family Civil War letters.

Wiley Nessmith family letters

This collection consists of correspondence from Wiley Nessmith to his wife, Martha Ann Nesmith written during the Civil War from 1862-1865. Also included are typed transcripts published and unpublished materials on the Nessmith family, and correspondence between Franklyn Hatch and the Nessmith family concerning the letters.

Spencer Wallace Cone papers

The collection consists of papers Spencer Wallace Cone from ca. 1810-1865. The papers include correspondence (1810-1813) from Spencer Houghton Cone in Baltimore (Md.) to Sally Morrell; letters between Houghton and Spencer Wallace Cone in the 1840ss; and letters from Spencer Wallace Cone while serving in the 61st New York Infantry Regiment during the Civil War to his wife Josie and daughter Maggie. Cone wrote letters mostly from Pennsylvania and Virginia in which he describes the battle of Fair Oaks, the Seven Days' battle, the Peninsular campaign, Gettysburg, Spotsylvania Court House, and the Appomattox Campaign. The collection also includes sermons by Spencer Houghton Cone and published and unpublished manuscripts by Spencer Wallace Cone.

Naomi L. D. Cox papers

The collection mainly consists of correspondence to Naomi L.D. Cox of Clayton's Mills, Pickens County, South Carolina from 1859-1869. The letter from family members mostly discusses personal and farm news but does mention the secession of Tennessee, life and living conditions in Tennessee during the Civil War and Reconstruction, and some descriptions of battles in Tennessee. Correspondents include Melinda D. Cox, Henrietta Cox, and Sallie Cox. The collection also contains a few bills or receipts and a photograph.

Georgia Hagin family papers

This collection consists of letters exchanged by husband and wife during the Civil War; family papers of Hagin and Beasley families; land records and legal documents; postcards; a Populist newspaper, The Silver Dollar (1896), and books from the early twentieth century.
