KEYS to Teaching Success: Standard 1: Professional Knowledge

Introduction

     The first standard of the Georgia Intern Keys rubric is professional knowledge. Professional knowledge in education not only includes specific content knowledge of the grade level and discipline but, importantly, includes pedagogical decisions to make learning active and meaningful for all students.
