Module Assignment: At Sales Pitch

Technology is permeating the classroom and the expectation is that teachers are not only familiar but also comfortable designing and implementing with technology. The only way to become comfortable is to practice with technology. For this week's assignment, you are going to act like a salesperson putting together a sales pitch. You are selling a school on a technology that will benefit them. The steps for the assignment are below:

  1. Complete all module requirements.
  2. Utilize the tools from the module (Specifically, the article) to select an assistive technology that you think would benefit your future classroom or school. This technology can not be a simple technology like a pencil grip. You must search and find a higher technology example. If you have questions, please clear it with me.
  3. Once you select a technology, you will create a sales presentation (You can use any program to create this) that includes:
    1. Name the technology and how you found it. 
    2. Where can you find it (Purchase Location)?
    3. How much does it cost?
    4. What is the technology used for?
    5. How will the technology benefit the classroom?
    6. What are the barriers to the overall implementation of the technology (Provide at least 2)?
    7. A brief step-by-step instruction manual for using the technology. Must have at least five accurate steps(Make sure you choose a technology that you can figure out how to use)
  4. Make sure it comes across as persuasive.
  5. Submit.
