Linking to Library Resources

To create a shareable link to a specific resource in SAGE Research Methods Video, open the database using the link on the Libraries' A-Z Database List, locate the resource, then:

1. Click Get Link.

2. Click Copy.

3. Open the OpenAthens Link Generator in a separate window.

4. Type Georgia Southern University in the Find your organization search bar.

5. Select the drop down result for Georgia Southern University.

6. Paste the URL into the Enter more links box.

7. Copy the OpenAthens link that appears on the right side of the screen. 

Share this link with Georgia Southern students, faculty, and staff. This link should work on or off campus.

In order to create a shareable link to a specific list of results you must first create a personal profile. To Create a Personal Profile:

1. Click My Profile.

2. Click Create My Profile.

3. Fill in your information on the profile set up page.

4. Click Save. You have now created a personal profile.

 

To create a shareable link once you have created a personal profile, conduct your search, then:

1. Click Save Search.

2. Name your search, then click Save.

3. Click your name and then click View My Profile.

4. Click on My Searches tab.

5. Right click on your Saved Search and Copy the URL Address Link.

6. Open the OpenAthens Link Generator in a separate window.

7. Type Georgia Southern University in the Find your organization search bar.

8. Select the drop down result for Georgia Southern University.

9. Paste the URL into the Enter more links box.

10. Copy the OpenAthens link that appears on the right hand side of the screen.

Share this link with Georgia Southern students, faculty, and staff. This link should work on or off campus.
