Linking to Library Resources

Create shareable links to library databases and resources.

Link to a Resource

ProQuest Research Companion does not support linking to specific learning modules or videos, either on-campus or off-campus. To use ProQuest Research Companion for teaching, instructors should link to the database using the Libraries' Friendly URL (https://georgiasouthern.libguides.com/db_23070408), then provide instructions for creating an account and using the platform.

Note: Do not copy the URL that appears in the address bar of your browser to create or share a link to ProQuest Research Companion or to any specific learning module or video.

Embed a Resource

ProQuest Research Companion does not support embedding videos for off-campus use. Instructors should embed these videos only if students are able to access the content using an on-campus computer.

To embed a ProQuest Research Companion video on another website (e.g., Folio), open the database using the link on the Libraries' A-Z Database List, locate the video, then:

  1. From the page for the specific video, click Embed this video below the viewer.
  2. Highlight and copy the HTML snippet that appears in the box below the viewer.

Use the HTML snippet to embed the video and video player.

Note: Do not copy the URL that appears in the address bar of your browser to create or share a link to ProQuest Research Companion or to any specific learning module or video.

First, from the page for the specific video, click "Embed this video". Second, highlight and copy the HTML snippet that appears.
