Project 1

What I Did:

For the first project, I worked very hard to create a booklet of all our work that we did. I summarized our work, how we gathered our information, and took photos along the way. I also went out and interviewed Georgia Southern students so that we could use that information to predict what we thought the future phones would look like. I also helped out on the website.

What We Did:

What We Did:

What we did was create a proposal for a museum exhibit. As a group, we created two visuals to help the proposal show exactly how we wanted the exhibit to be. The visuals were a timeline and a layout of the exhibit, to show what the exhibit will look like. The history of technology is a complicated subject and each break through was crucial to the fruition of the next. The group wanted to design an interactive exhibit that gave the essence of walking through time. The exhibit will be along the west side of the building and will follow a pattern of time being directly correlated with your distance down the hallway. It is almost like an interactive timeline that continues to hold chronological order. While the booklet and visualizations will be a part of the real proposal, the website will include deeper background information into the history of the cell phone. The actual exhibit will consist of an actual physical item and a short excerpt summarizing the item and its relevance. This can create change because phones are such a big part of our lives now a days, and it's important to know and understand how your phone works.

Reflection

Reflection:

I think our group worked very well together. Instead of everyone working on everything, we split up the jobs and each worked on our own part. This worked out best. It was also a good idea to email our progress back and forth to each other because then we could use each other's information and pictures on the own part we were working on individually.
