Videos for "Ten or One Hundred More or Less"

Students will need to be able to find ten more or ten less than any given three digit number. Students must also be able to find 100 more or 100 less than any given three digit number. It is important that your student is able to do this without counting up or down by ten or 100 individual ones. Students must also be able to explain their reasoning. For example, students should be able to say that 145 is ten more than 135 without counting, and 125 is ten less than 135 without counting.

Standard code and description: 2.NR.2.2; Find 10 more or 10 less than a given three digit number and find 100 more or 100 less than a given three digit number.
