A lender will "conditionalize" a request if they have a question concerning the item. The ILL staff will either answer the message from the potential lender or email the patron if any clarification is needed.
Awaiting Copyright Clearance
The article request has been submitted by the patron and it is awaiting copyright processing to determine the amount of copyright fees to be paid by the Library, if necessary.
Awaiting Customer Contact
The ILLiad system moves requests to this status after the book bands have been opened for printing.
Awaiting DD Stacks Searching
ILLiad says the Library owns a requested item. ILL staff are beginning the process to search for it.
Awaiting DocDel Scanning
ILL staff have retrieved an article that the Library owns, and are preparing to scan it into the patron’s ILLiad account.
Awaiting Post Receipt Processing
The requested book has arrived and is being processed by the ILL staff. You will be notified by email when the item is available.
Awaiting Purchase Approval
The ILL staff have asked the Library to purchase an item instead of borrowing it, and are waiting for an answer.
Awaiting RAPID Local Request Processing
The RapidILL system has identified that the Library should have your requested document in our collection. If we find it we will fill your request via Document Delivery. If we do not have it, we will send your request to other libraries to be filled.
Awaiting RAPID Request Sending
The ILL staff have sent your article request to the RAPID system for filling. This is a temporary status that will clear once it has accepted the request.
Awaiting Request Processing
The item cleared the copyright fee check and is now ready to be searched and requested from potential lenders.
Awaiting Renewal Denial Processing
The ILL staff have been notified that the lender has refused to renew a book. An email will be sent to the patron, and the book will stay in this status.
Awaiting Renewal OK Processing
The ILL staff have received a new date from the lender on an item and need to update the patron’s account. Once the date is updated this will revert back to “Checked Out to Customer”.
Awaiting Return Label Printing
The ILL staff have your returned item in our possession and are preparing the return address labels for printing.
Awaiting Unfilled Processing
The request has been returned as unfilled. No library in our first group of possible lenders has agreed to send the item. ILL staff will resend the request if more sources are available.
Cancelled by Customer
ILLiad says you do not want an item. ILL staff will cancel the request for you based on this information, and send an email when it is done.
Cancelled by ILL Staff
The request has been cancelled by the ILL staff. The reason will be found in the patron’s ILLiad account and by reading the email the system will automatically send.
Check Upstairs
ILLiad says the Library owns an item, and ILL staff will retrieve it. Once that is done an email will be sent to notify the patron.
Checked out to Customer
The requested item has arrived, been processed by the ILL staff, and is checked out to the patron. It is available for pickup.
Checked in from Customer
The ILL staff have checked a returned item back in and are beginning to process it for return to the lending library. At this point it is no longer on the patron’s account.
Customer Notified via E-Mail
The requested item has arrived, has been processed by ILL staff, and the patron has been notified via email of its availability at the ILL office.
Delivered to Web
The requested article has been processed by the ILL staff and posted to the patron’s ILLiad account. It can be viewed or downloaded with Adobe Acrobat as a PDF.
In DD Stacks Searching
The ILL staff are actively looking for a requested item that the Library owns.
Recalled
The item has been recalled by the lending library. Return it to the Circulation or Access Services department in the Library immediately.
Renewal Requested
ILL staff have been notified that a patron has requested a renewal on a book, and need to notify the lender. This is a temporary status, and will revert back to “Checked Out to Customer” once the renewal request has been sent.
Request Finished
Your request is complete. Either the book has been sent home or the article has timed out from our servers.
Request in Processing
The request is currently being processed by an ILL staff member.
Request Sent
The request has been sent to potential lenders and ILL staff are waiting for a response.
Waiting on Patron Response
The ILL staff have emailed you for more information or clarification regarding one of your requests.
Waiting on Patron Payment
The Library has been billed for a lost ILL item. The patron has been notified and their account blocked until the item is returned or payment is made.
