FYE 1220 - First Year Seminar - Gilliard-Smith: Activity

Think about how you evaluate information and sources of information. We have the CRAAP Test and the SIFT Method, so now lets take a look at three different sources of information and compare how they present information and who is presenting it. 

1. In your group, select one person to be the Scribe. You only need to fill out 1 handout per group.

2. Click on the links to the different articles in the Article box on the left.

3. Skim these articles and fill in the chart on the handout. 

4. Review the questions at the bottom of the page to come to some conclusions (you do not need to write answers to these quesitons as long as your group can discuss)

5. We will have a discussion at the end of class
