Board Games W through Z

Wavelength

Wavelength is a social guessing game in which two teams compete to read each other's minds. Teams take turns rotating a dial to where they think a hidden bullseye is located on a spectrum. One of the players on your team — the Psychic — knows exactly where the bullseye is, and draws a card with a pair of binaries on it (such as: Job - Career, Rough - Smooth, Fantasy - Sci-Fi, Sad Song - Happy Song, etc). The Psychic must then provide a clue that is *conceptually* where the bullseye is located between those two binaries.

Welcome to Centerville

Welcome to Centerville is a fast-playing board game for 2-4 players. Welcome to Centerville abstractly models the growth and management of a small city — perhaps not unlike the one you’re in right now.
Players act as entrepreneurs, tycoons, politicians and other local movers and shakers working to develop a modern urban area. Fortunes will be made and fame will rise. As time goes by, personal milestones will enrich the players even further.

Werewords

In Werewords, players guess a secret word by asking "yes" or "no" questions. Figure out the magic word before time is up, and you win! However, one of the players is secretly a werewolf who is not only working against you, but also knows the word. If you don't guess the word in time, you can still win by identifying the werewolf!

You Gotta Be Kitten Me!

You Gotta Be Kitten Me! is a Liar's Dice-style bluffing game in which players each hold cards that feature animals with some kind of accessory, such as hats, glasses and bow ties. Each turn, you try to guess — or at least claim — how many cards are in play with a certain color or accessory, either by raising the current bid or challenging another player. Whoever's wrong loses a card, then you start a new round of play. The last player with cards remaining wins!
