In late 2019, the American Psychological Association updated the APA formatting style. The APA has stated the expected timeframe for students and scholars to start using the 7th edition changes will be during the spring of 2020.

This guide will be undergoing changes in to reflect the update from the 6th edition to the 7th edition. In the meantime, click on the link below for a summary of recent changes. Check with your instructor to make sure you are using their preferred edition.
