Economic Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis

This site offers a wealth of economic data and information to promote economic education and enhance economic research. The widely used database FRED is updated regularly and allows 24/7 access to regional and national financial and economic data.

FRASER

FRASER is a digital library of U.S. economic, financial, and banking history—particularly the history of the Federal Reserve System. It provides access to economic information, data and policy documents from the Federal Reserve System and many other institutions to the public.

National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER)

The NBER is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to conducting economic research and to disseminating research findings among academics, public policy makers, and business professionals. NBER-affiliated researchers study a wide range of topics and they employ many different methods in their work. Key focus areas include developing new statistical measurements, estimating quantitative models of economic behavior, and analyzing the effects of public policies. NBER Working Papers can be found in the Library here http://www.nber.org/new.html

U.S. Department of Commerce. Bureau of Economic Analysis

This website provides timely and relevant economic data, analyses, and research papers to inform the decision making of ppolicymakers, business leaders, and the public.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF)

IMF is an organization of 189 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world.

IMF Data (http://www.imf.org/en/Data) contains a range of time series data on IMF lending, exchange rates and other economic and financial indicators. Manuals, guides, and other material on statistical practices at the IMF, in member countries, and of the statistical community at large can also be accessed here.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

OECD promotes policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. OECD provides a forum in which governments can work together to share experiences and seek solutions to common economic, social and environmental problems.

The World Bank Open Knowledge Repository (OKR)

The World Bank is an international financial institution that provides financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world for capital projects. The World Bank Open Knowledge Repository (OKR) is an open access repository for its research outputs and knowledge products.
