Getting Started with DOIs in the IR

Before publishing DOIs in an IR, DOIs need to be generated based on your predetermined syntax. If you are forming DOIs for several objects, using a DOI generator may save you time. The DOI Generator used by Georgia Southern University is attached below as an example.

When publishing DOIs, Crossref recommends using the hyperlink versions of the DOIs (http://blog.crossref.org/2016/09/new-crossref-doi-display-guidelines.html).
