Viewers of this interactive map are able to see the day-to-day movements and locations of rioters and military personnel. The map provided shows both boroughs and street names, allowing for an accurate placement of disturbances and destroyed buildings. When one clicks on each point on the map, a brief description of the event is provided, along with a link to the newspaper article where the account was written. The production of this map, as well as the archive of newspaper articles, will give future researchers the ability to access material in one location that was once scattered across many.
