"Archival Silence: Closing Gaps in African American History in Bulloch County, GA" is a joint presentation from the Willow Hill Heritage & Renaissance Center and Georgia Southern University Libraries. Presenters include Dr. Alvin D. Jackson, Founder and Board President of Willow Hill Heritage & Renaissance center, Dr. Nkenge Jackson-Flowers, Founder and Board Secretary of Willow Hill Heritage & Renaissance Center and Georgia Southern University Libraries' Autumn Johnson, Special Collections Librarian, Beth Burnett, Institutional Repository Librarian, and Jennifer Gerrald, Institutional Repository Manager. 


The presentation is part of Telfair Museums' Legacy of Slavery in Savannah Initiative, an interdisciplinary effort examines the historical roots of present-day conditions of racial inequality and uncovers dimensions of the black freedom struggle that remain underexplored.
