Advanced Search
From the GIL-Find main page, click Advanced Search to help narrow your search criteria. From Advanced Search, you can search for a specific title, author, or subject in Georgia Southern's Library GIL-Find OR in the University System of Georgia GIL-Find, giving you access to books throughout the University System.
What is GIL Express?
A resource sharing service offered at all libraries within the University System of Georgia (USG). By using GIL Express you can check out materials from any library in the system.
Use it first when you can't find a book in our library. We may not have it but chances are that another library will. If not, then use the ILL Process.
GIL Express
After signing into your account, search for the title. Change your search scope to "University System of Georgia" Click on the title in the catalog.
Click on "Get It" and select the institution. This takes a few minutes to load so be patient.
Select "Request"
Choose the location where you want the item sent and select "Request" again.
