Searching in GIL-Find

Login to Your Account to see the titles you've checked out from GS Libraries and those that you've "checked out" from other libraries via GIL Express.

Step 1: Navigate to the library catalog: http://gil.georgiasouthern.edu

Step 2: Locate the "Sign In" link in the  upper right corner and follow it. 

Step 3: Select "GA Southern Students, Faculty, & Staff" if you are affiliated with Georgia Southern. This includes both the Savannah and the Statesboro campuses. 

Step 4: Use the first part of your Georgia Southern email (e.g. jsmith) and your email password to login. 

Step 5: Click on your name in the top right corner to bring up your account. 

> My Library Account will show you everything on your account including Fines and Fees

> My Loans will show you all the loans  you have from Georgia Southern University Libraries and other University System of Georgia Schools

> My Requests will show you any purchase, Document Delivery requests, or GIl Express requests in progress or approved

Step 6: To renew loans, navigate to the Loan tab and click the "Renew" Button"
