Project 2: Mapping the USA's Solar Farms
For the implementation project, our group decided to revisit the idea of solar energy, but hone in on the locations of solar farms within the United States of America using an interactive map.
The user can explore the map by clicking the red markers to learn more about the selected farm: it's location, a hyperlink to the farm's website, and a brief description about the farm. Oregon, for instance, is home to more than twenty different locations for solar farms.
Lastly, we re-emphasized the importance of the advantages to switching to solar energy.
