Bio

My name is Kevin Reagan (he/him), and I am an Outreach and Information Studies Librarian at Georgia Southern University. In my role, I teach one-shot information literacy sessions, credit-bearing courses, provide library outreach to the University's Statesboro campus, and conduct research.

One of my research interests is AI literacy, which organically grew out of my research in library instruction. This guide, in part, developed from my desire to compile lesson plans on using AI in the classroom. However, as I started using AI, I decided that an entire LibGuide dedicated to AI tools, resources, and issues would greatly benefit others. Moreover, while I am fascinated by and use AI regularly in my workflows, I believe others should be cognizant of the myriad environmental and privacy issues that AI presents, which you can learn about on the "AI and Data Privacy" and "AI and The Environment" tabs.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at Kreagan@georgiasouthern.edu.

All the best,

Kevin
