Off-Campus Access to Library Resources

To access the Libraries' electronic resources from an off-campus network, you may be prompted to log into the resource using either the MyGS Login form or the Libraries' EZProxy Login form. Please note, logging into the MyGeorgiaSouthern portal first does not log you into the Libraries' resources.

If the MyGS Login form appears, enter your MyGS username and password as you normally do and click Login. You will be redirected to the resource.

If the Libraries' EZProxy Login form appears, enter your MyGS username and password and click Login. Do not include "@georgiasouthern.edu" in the username field. You will be redirected to the resource.

If the Libraries' EZProxy Login form appears, enter you MyGS username and password, do not include the @georgiasouthern.edu . Then, click "Login".

When searching Discover @ Georgia Southern from off campus, be sure to click Click Here To Log In in the yellow bar that appears at the top of the screen when Discover first opens. Failure to log in may result in some links failing without the opportunity to log in later. You will be prompted to log in using the MyGS Login.
