The Bigger Picture-Lil Baby

It is time,at last to speak out on what is going on in today's world. The song i am going to be using is "The Bigger Picture" by the Lil Baby. This song and main message is about police brutality and some issues going on in America. Around thirty five seconds into the song he said, "I found i crazy that the Police will shoot you and know you dead but still tell you to freeze!" Now by saying that is in most cases The Police will shoot first and then want to do there job. Most Police do the things they do is because of the power they know they have, but that is most cops not all.

Forty one seconds into the song Lil Baby said, "It is to many mothers that is grieving. They killing us for no reason, been going for too long to get even." Also in this verse i agree with him one hundred percent. If the Police will just put there self in these families and mothers shoes, and think on the tragedy and emotion they are going through it would be different. Yes they have been killing us for no reason and now it has been going on to long that we can't get even. That is the problem we shouldn't want to get even because doing that will only create more conflict. As a Nation we half to realize in order to be one, we half to be in unity.City: Mom can see video from cop shooting that killed son, 16 - Chicago Tribune

Around one minute and four seconds into the song he said, "Every colored person isn't dumb and all whites are not racist. I be judging by the mind and heart, i am not really into faces. In this case i will agree because in today society colored people are known for being athletic but dumb when it comes to anything else. About all whites not racist i be judging by the mind and heart needs to be taught to ALL races because you should never judge a person by there skin color but by the kindness of there heart. Trump was moved to bunker, sources confirm - ABC News

The next verse of the song around one minute and twelve seconds he says, "messed up the way we living it is not getting better, you half to know how to survive. By him saying that i understand because after protesting we thought things will get better but it's like it doesn't matter if you at a traffic stop or get pulled over for a busted tail light it feels as if its like kill or be killed. One minute and thirty seconds into the song Lil Baby said a quote like, "I see blue lights, i get scared and start running, and that be the crazy part, they suppose to protect us." Honestly it shouldn't be that way. The Police suppose to be our safe zone. In today's world we would rather not call the Police because we feel like they will kill us instead of handling the situation.

About one minute and fifty seconds into the song he said, "They know we a problem together. They know we can can storm any weather." Society try so hard to break the black community up but if they can help us build, not just physically but also mentally. Maybe one day we can come together and run this nation as one instead of being divided, but it also half to start in the black community with the black on black violence. "Corrupted police been the problem where i'm from but i would be lying if i said it was all of them." Lil Baby said that two minutes and twenty four seconds into the rap. The main problem is not all cops are bad, it's just the ones that is killing innocent people. That is leaving a bad name for all Police but it is only the corrupt cops.

In talking about "The Bigger Picture" you can't just tell one side of the story, you half to tell the other side. At the end of the day we half to realize that Police are human to and they are going to make mistakes. They get up every morning to make a life for there family and also to serve and protect. When it is all set and done they have one job and that is to make sure people obey the law!     Columbus GA Georgia Police Officer Mini Badge Lapel Pin | eBay

In closing America half to realize "The Bigger Picture." It is not just about black versus white it's about us as a whole. We half to learn to accept we will always have differences and thoughts towards things but when a person doesn't agree we can't turn to violence. You know the saying history repeat itself , well we as a nation make history repeat itself by doing the same thing through out time but in different ways. Yes i know Police brutality is going on and black and whites still not seeing eye to eye but it's not about us, it's about "The Bigger Picture."1,993 Racial Unity Photos - Free & Royalty-Free Stock Photos from Dreamstime
