NURS 4113 NURSING RESEARCH

A course for Undergraduate Nursing Students

Welcome to this course, NURS 4113, Nursing Research at Georgia Southern University. This is a mandatory course for all undergraduate nursing students. While the course title is Nursing Research, you are not DOING research, but USING research findings. Using research findings to improve Nursing Practice is part of the Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) process.

This course is unique as your resources are free - you don't have to buy, rent, or get a textbook from the library. This LibGuide is freely available under a Creative Common License 4.0

These Open Education Resources are used throughout the course:

Thank you to:

  • Nikki Cannon-Rech (Associate Professor/Librarian Zach S. Henderson Library Georgia Southern University) ignited my interest in developing and using Open Educational Resources in Nursing.
  • Affordable Learning Georgia for a grant to develop the materials.
  • Students and faculty instructors, past and present, thank you for your continuous support and input in creating the resource material.
