Possible solutions to the technology issue would be stopping social media platforms from using user information to manipulate them.Also platforms should show less negative content and praise more uplifting posts because our brains are prone to be more interested in a car crash or shooting before good news due to this.

According to Donald Norman emotional design is something that we have a bond to. You are more likely to keep something around that is valuable to you or personal. Our emotion can lead us to make decisions that we wouldn"t have made if not emotional. In the spur of the moment one is more likely to buy something if it gives them pleasant memories or if for some reason they can relate to it on a personal level.
