Georgia Archives Month 2025: Home

Step into history with Escape the Studio, Georgia Southern University’s interactive escape room designed for Georgia Archives Month. This immersive experience invites players to work together, uncover clues, and solve puzzles using facsimiles of archival documents. Along the way, participants will track down a “lost” 1980s recording featuring a rare Gretsch guitar—discovering the cultural significance of Special Collections materials in the process.

Hosted on both the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses, Escape the Studio highlights the role of Special Collections as a steward of institutional memory and a hub for experiential learning.
