The exhibit included wonderful pictures of ocean flora and fauna taken by Talia Zamora, which she brought together in a flip book students could look through when visiting the physical exhibit.
Don't forget to grab a handout on your way out.
Display by Talia Zamora
My name is Talia Zamora and I work in the Government Documents Department of the Library. Our purpose with this display is to inform you about the harm humans cause to the marine environment and what you can do to help prevent the loss of our already endangered/threatened species. Also, part of the exhibit is to help you safely prepare and consume seafood. All of the information and materials found here are a part of the Government Documents collection. If you’ve never used this collection of resources at the Library, you should check it out! You can find information on every imaginable topic, and the documents make excellent primary sources! The Documents Librarian, Lori Gwinett, will be happy to assist you with your research!
There will be a visitor's log available at the display. Please sign your name and leave any comments or suggestions about the display. This helps us to make our displays more appealing to students.
