Library Services and Resources for Undergraduate Students

Reference sources, such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, etc. are more general in their coverage of information. These kinds of sources provide information that may cover a wide expanse of subjects, but each entry is typically fairly brief and easy to read/understand without special knowledge. Reference sources serve as a great starting point to provide an introduction to a topic and a foundation for research.

The following resources are Lane Library subscriptions and helpful in understanding how a topic can be categorized or considered in different ways.  Using these databases off campus will require your GSU username and password.
