Books and physical materials can be returned to Lane or Henderson Library book drops. If you would like to mail your books and materials, you may do so by downloading the USPS Library Return Label and mailing your items (well packaged) through USPS by scheduling a pickup, placing the package in your outgoing mail, or dropping it off at a USPS collection box or post office. Books that you received through the mail from the library should have a return label included already. If you do not have access to a printer, please contact your library and we would be happy to send your a return label by mail. Returning items by mail is free-of-charge for you using this return label. Note: In most instances students who are enrolled for the fall term will be given an extended due date to allow books, DVDs and some other non-equipment items to be returned in August when they return to campus. There are exceptions to this option, depending on demand for specific items and item types.

Equipment Returns in Person
Georgia Southern Libraries (GSL) laptops and other equipment should be returned inside the building. Please do not put any equipment returns in the library drop boxes.
Equipment Returns by Mail
If you are unable to return to campus to return your equipment, the library will help you return your equipment by mail. All equipment returns by mail must be done through UPS and must be insured. To acquire a return label for your equipment, please call or email the Zach S. Henderson Library at 912-478-5647 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We will create a label that you can print at home and arrange for a UPS pickup or drop off at a UPS store or collection box. If you do not have a printer, you may also take your phone into a UPS store with the label pulled up and they will be able to print it for you there.
Laptop Renewal Requests
If students need to keep currently checked out laptops for summer term online courses, they should request a renewal if needed. Renewals may generally be requested online through your library account. If you experience issues with the renewal request online, please email your library circulation desk (below). Laptops checked out to students enrolled for summer term will have a due date of July 24, 2020.
