How to Enter the Poster Contest
Thank you for your interest in the Constitution Day Poster Contest for 2021. The annual Constitution Day Poster Contest provides GA Southern students an opportunity to showcase the history and relevance of the amendments of the Constitution while highlighting student research and creativity.
- Choose a Constitutional Amendment to research then illustrate its essential concepts and effect on American life/society via a digital poster that you will then present in a video. Be sure to highlight events relevant to the creation or development of that amendment.
- Use Canva to create your poster and YuJa to record a video of you presenting your poster. Both programs are free and easily accessible for GA Southern students. To learn how to use YuJa, click here. For guidelines to making a poster in Canva, click here. REMEMBER: Posters must be PDFs, PNGs, or JPEGs and videos cannot be longer than 3 minutes. - Download both files and save them as "FirstandLastName_Amendment#." Then, enter the contest by filling out the Poster Submission Form and uploading your poster and video presentation.
The competition will close on September 16, 2021 5:00 PM. Best of luck in the competition!
3 Winners will receive up to $300 in prize money!
1st Prize: $150
2nd Prize: $100
3rd Prize: $50
Judging will being on September 17, 2021 and the winners will be announced on September 22, 2021.
Prize money is being provided by the Office of Pre-Law Advising.
