Video Tour of the Henderson Library
This video takes you on a tour of all four floors of the building. One change since it was created is that the bound periodicals from 2010 to present are located on the 2nd floor for your convenience. All earlier issues of our bound periodical collection is stored in the Automated Retrieval Collection or ARC.
Library Services
- create a MYLIBRARY ACCOUNTThis account allows students to check their library account to renew books, check on GIL-Express requests, and place an ARC request.
- Interlibrary Loan/ ILLiad accountEstablish an ILLiad account to make requests for books, articles, and other materials the Henderson Library does not own.
- GIL_ExpressThis service allows students at University System of Georgia schools to make their own requests for circulating books at these libraries and pick them up at the USG library of their choice.
- Library WorkshopsWant to increase your knowledge about individual library databases, library research skills, and computer software? Sign-up for one or more library workshops.
- Special CollectionsSpecial Collections is the name given to the section of the library which holds rare books and manuscripts.

What are Library Liaisons, and How Can They Help You in Your Quest for Information?
Library Liaisons are librarians who provide integrated services for faculty, staff, and students in all disciplines.
It is like having your own personal librarian to help you:
- plan a strategy to efficiently and effectively accomplish your search for information, or
- answer a question about the library's resources, services, and policies.
Best of all, you don't have to wait for class to schedule a personal research consultation with a Librarian! Feel free to contact your library liaison/subject specialist for assistance at any time.
